WE FUND THE BLUE
We the People Gala is a powerful celebration of patriotism and purpose, benefitting the impactful work of the We Fund the Blue Foundation. Founded by U.S. Army veteran John Rourke, the organization is dedicated to supporting America’s law enforcement, military, and first responders through direct action—from donating life-saving gear and Narcan to leading community restoration efforts like the “Make America Clean Again” initiative. The gala brings together supporters, leaders, and changemakers in a night of unity and recognition, raising funds to fuel missions that restore dignity, safety, and hope across the nation. It’s more than an event—it’s a rallying cry for those who believe in service, strength, and standing up for those who protect us.
Founder John Rourke
John Rourke is a combat veteran and proven leader whose service-driven approach defines every mission he leads through We Fund the Blue Foundation.
As a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant with deployments to Iraq and Kosovo, Rourke brings a disciplined, no-excuses mindset to crisis response, community cleanup, and law enforcement support. His leadership is hands-on and action-focused—whether he’s delivering water filtration systems to East Palestine, organizing disaster relief during wildfires, or cleaning up tons of trash from America’s most neglected areas. Rourke leads by example, showing that patriotism means rolling up your sleeves, serving others, and doing the hard work to make communities safer, cleaner, and stronger.
